Jeff Grossman Fights to Improve Safety on the Bus Rooftop

Anyone who has climbed to the top of the turn 2 bus frequented by Jeff
Grossman can notice a lack of "Safety" on the rooftop. In fact, one
missed step could easily send an infield patron to Foote Hospital in
Jackson with a broken neck. Jeff Grossman has "worked up" some plans
for a safety railing for the roof, but has been BLOCKED by the owner of
the bus, fearing a railing could "damage" the vehicle. Team coverage will
continue right up to the event with news on this breaking story.

Brett and Mitch are neck and neck at this point for MVP already! They
have secured for us a truck to be used in the 2007 running of the
INFIELD EXTRAVAGANZA presented by Pabst.
OFFICIAL MIS Schedule of Events Released

The official MIS site has released the schedule of events for the Citizens
Bank 400 weekend this June. Jeff Joy will be ready to nap for all three
scheduled races on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Move over Batman, there's a new sheriff in town this June. Citizens Bank
has taken over corporate sponsorship of the weekend. We are closing in
on 3 months to go until the Infield Extravaganza/Brooklyn Bonanza 2007.
The emails have already begun in preparation of this event.... and we can
expect even more as we close in on the date.

2 Rookies Probable!

It appears as if two rookies may enter for INFIELD EXTRAVAGANZA XII.
This would mark the first infield class since June 2005 when Andy
Cooper made his triumphant debut along with Mike Jurmo. This
season we anticipate the long awaited entry of Dan's cousin Matt Ninke
as well as Ken's cousin Robert Spencer! We may have quite a battle
for rookie of the year this season!

History was made during the ARCA Race at M.I.S. A decal
carrying the official MichiganInfield.com logo was along for the
ride aboard Dexter Bean's #6 Five Star Telecom Chevy. We
would like to thank the boys from BlackJack Racing for stopping
by the Team PBR Hospitality village and making Infield
Extravaganza history by getting our logo on the car for that great
12th place run!! Congrats to BlackJack for a great run at MIS.
