BROOKLYN, MI - It was a battle for the ages. After waiting out a quick
rainstorm, the boards were put in place and a large, rowdy infield crowd
began to gather in anticipation. The first contestant pulled up in the "Rip It"
luxury towncar. Immediately the fans knew that the challenger had arrived.
Joey emerged from the vehicle with a purpose in his eyes. The crowd parted
as he made his way to the boards.
Then, trumpets began singing the royal triumphant tune announcing the
entrance of the Infield's KING. The King, adorned in the traditional regal red
cape as well as a Coulter RIP IT tee shirt, greeted the challenger. Then, to
the shock and awe of the crowd, he ripped the red shirt to shreds, revealing
the familiar blue colors of Team MichiganInfield.com's Pabst Blue Ribbon!!
Mere words cannot properly describe the action that took place once the
bags began to fly. The King and Joey traded point for point until both
competitors realized that neither of them could be defeated. The match was
ruled a draw.
Both competitors then thanked the crowd with an autograph signing, ice
cold Rip It Energy Fuel, tee shirts, hats, coozies, and lanyards.
The energy created during the event spilled over onto the track as Joey
piloted the #16 Rip It Energy Fuel Chevrolet to a then career-best 2nd place
finish!!
